The Palm Centre was established in 1989 by Martin Gibbons as the original and premier UK nursery for hardy exotics. Based in a 4-acre nursery in Ham, Surrey, we grow and source a wide variety of indoor and outdoor plants.
With over 30 years of experience, we’ve built a strong reputation for supplying quality plants to landscapers and professional gardeners.
A hidden gem
The Palm Centre nursery is tucked away in a picturesque part of Ham, near Richmond, close to the River Thames; set within a 17th century historic walled garden which was once part of Ham House.
The site features several large glasshouses packed with a host of spectacular plants, heated indoor plant tunnel, perennial display areas, outdoor (and indoor) pots and planters and a wealth of impressive specimen palms and hardy exotics that you won’t find available anywhere else.
